It is best to consider DHA supplements, if you wish optimum health. Point is, DHA is among the many omega-3 fatty acids that our bodies need. The problem is with our current food chain, we do not take advantage of the omega-3's that people would always get. You can't get omega-3 essential fatty acids by using a vegetarian diet, and with the way fish, cattle, and fowl are raised, they never get to eat enough natural, free-range foods.
